4. Descents and Crossing Restrictions

4.1 - PHNL Descents

4.2 - HCF Handoff to HCF TRACON

  1. East Ops
    1. Aircraft on the BOOKE#, INOYI#, JULLE#, KAENA#, KLANI#, MAGGI#, MAKAH#, OPACA# and SHLAE# shall be handed off to HNL_H_APP when HCF TRACON is split
    2. Aircraft on the SYMIN# shall be handed off to HNL_L_APP when HCF TRACON is split.
    3. HCF TRACON shall have control for descent and turns, no greater than 20 degrees, 15nm from the HCF TRACON boundary upon transfer of communications.
  2. West Ops
    1. Aircraft on the BOOKE#, KAENA#, KLANI#, OPACA# and SHLAE# shall be handed off to HNL_H_APP when HCF TRACON is split
    2. Aircraft on the JULLE#, MAGGI#, MAKAH#, SAKKI# and SYMIN# shall be handed off to HNL_L_APP when HCF TRACON is split.
    3. HCF TRACON shall have control for descent and turns, no greater than 20 degrees, 15nm from the HCF TRACON boundary upon transfer of communications.

4.3 - PHOG Descents

CAMPS# Aircraft routed over LNY shall be descending to cross LNY @ 9000.

4.4 - HCF CTR Handoff to OGG TRACON

  1. Aircraft on the LNDHY# shall be handed off to OGG_N_APP when OGG TRACON is split.
  2. Aircraft on the CAMPS# and the LAVAS# shall be handed off to OGG_S_APP when OGG TRACON is split.
  3. OGG TRACON shall have control for descent and turns, no greater than 20 degrees, 15nm from the OGG TRACON boundary upon transfer of communications.

4.5 - HCF CTR Handoff to ITO TRACON

  1. Aircraft arriving on V21 or V15 to PUMIC should be assigned PUMIC at 15,000. Aircraft not flying to PUMIC, assign 15,000 feet 30 DME from ITO.
  2. All aircraft to be handed off to ITO_APP.
  3. ITO TRACON shall have control for descent and turns, no greater than 20 degrees, 15nm from the ITO TRACON boundary upon transfer of communications.
